February 10, 2012 – Tinton Falls, NJ – A.J. Perri, the leading heating, cooling and plumbing company in central New Jersey, wants homeowners to take advantage of recently extended rebates for customers who make energy-efficient home improvements. In January, New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) gained approval from the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities to extend the SaveGreen Project, which offers $19.4 million in rebates and incentives to customers who make qualifying heating and air conditioning system purchases.
“This is a great opportunity for every homeowner in New Jersey,” says Kevin Perri, Vice President of A.J. Perri “Many of us have furnaces and air conditioners that are no longer operating to their intended efficiencies. As a result, we’re using too much energy, paying too much for utility bills, and harming our environment. The SaveGreen project doesn’t just save money; it saves the environment as well.”
Perri wants homeowners to get the most savings out of the rebates, so his company, A. J. Perri, is offering additional incentives for qualified purchases as well. “When you add that to the $900 rebate from the SaveGreen Project and up to $900 from the COOL & WARMAdvantage rebate offered New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program, the savings are substantial. And that’s before you tally in how much money is saved by using less energy with a high-efficiency system.” A. J. Perri is also offering no-money-down installation and can also finance with approved credit the systems units the company installs. “These systems have never been more affordable,” says Perri.
“A high-efficiency furnace and air conditioner are a great way to save money, help the environment, and make your home more comfortable. But if your system isn’t the right size for your home, the upgrade to high efficiency can be wasted. A system that is too small or too big can be just as inefficient as an old system and doesn’t deliver the optimum level of comfort in the home. That’s why as part of our pledge to help customers, we set the goal of right-sizing every system we install,” he continues.
The SaveGreen Project began in 2009 and has been extended through December 31, 2012. It provides bill-repayment opportunities for NJNG customers along with financial incentives to help with the costs of energy-efficient upgrades.
