Indoor air quality is a growing concern for all of us these days. Studies show we spend about 90 percent of our time indoors, a large portion of which is spent inside our homes. And thanks to more tightly insulated/sealed homes, the concentration of pollutants inside exceeds those outdoors. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), studies show “human exposure to air pollutants may be two to five times – and occasionally more than 100 times – higher than outdoor levels!” These are some pretty scary statistics!
