National Consumer Protection Week, according to the Federal Trade Commission’s website, “is an annual campaign among government and non-profit entities that encourages consumers to take full advantage of their consumer rights and make better-informed decisions in the marketplace.”

A.J. Perri Vice President Wants Homeowners to Receive Energy-Efficiency Rebates
Tinton Falls, NJ (February, 2012) – A.J Perri, Inc., the leading heating, cooling and plumbing company in central New Jersey, wants homeowners to take advantage of recently extended rebates for customers who make energy-efficient home improvements. In January, New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) gained approval from the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities to extend the SaveGreen Project, which offers $19.4 million in rebates and incentives to customers who make qualifying heating and air conditioning system purchases.

Tinton Falls, NJ (January, 2012) – A.J Perri, Inc., a local heating and cooling company, wants to ensure the public is aware of the dangers of carbon monoxide gas, which is produced in furnaces and can be deadly if not ventilated outside. According to the CDC, the United States averages about 500 carbon monoxide (CO) fatalities each year and the greatest number of these are in January.

A.J. Perri Heating, Cooling and Plumbing recently helped raise over $3,400 for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer as a team of co-workers, family members and friends participated in the 2011 Making Strides of Point Pleasant Beach. 17,000 walkers participated in the event on Sunday morning, including more than 800 breast cancer survivors.

Perri has joined forces with The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, The Breeze, Thunder 106, B98.5 & the Asbury Park Press as a sponsor for the 5th Annual Monmouth/Ocean 2011 School Holiday Hunger Challenge.
